This is a guest post written by Keyzygirl from Key West, Florida. Laid back and vaping in paradise.
When preparing to leave the house you need to make sure you are ready to face the day. This is especially true for vapers. You may ask yourself "What do I need to carry with me?" The answer is that it is always better to have too much than too little.
When going out for the day, you should always have extras. A carrying case will hold extra batteries and cartomizers. If you vape a lot consider bringing a charging case. If you are driving you may want a passthrough and a car adapter. I also carry a USB charger in my purse so it's there if I need it.
Carry an extra battery. You may say you don't need more than one, but if it dies on you, you will wish you had listened. I also always have a bottle of juice handy to top off my carto. I always think they have more juice left than they actually do. Better safe than sorry. There's nothing worse than a fresh charged battery and an empty carto. Make sure it doesn't happen to you.
Longer trips require extra supplies. Figure out what you use each day then add extra. I always throw in an extra box of cartos and an extra bottle of juice in case I vape more than I planned. Make sure all your batteries are charged and pack an extra charger. Vaping supplies don't take up a lot of space and its better to have more than you need than to run out. We don't need excuses to smoke cigarettes. We need to be prepared.
I'm not a huge passthrough user so I use my car adapter with a USB charger on trips. I always have freshly charged batts. I love vaping in the car. I used to have to ask to pull over every few hours because I needed a smoke. I'm so much more relaxed traveling now that I'm not worried when I'll get my next nic fix. I guess I'm a better travel companion now that I'm less stressed about smoking. Another benefit of vaping. Enjoy the ride!
