WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco and Menthol e-liquid review
This is a guest blog post by Morandir.
Vapor4Life recently released two new flavors – WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco and Smilin Tobacco Menthol. The flavor is available in both 30ml bottles and cartomizers. I’ve been testing both new juices pretty heavily the past few weeks on a number of different setups. I wanted to be as thorough as possible (no surprise for those who are used to my reviews).
WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco
It’s the same juice you’ll find in the new WOW Vapor King Tobacco disposables. This juice was a little deceiving in some ways (both are in this aspect actually). Based solely on flow rate and viscosity I would put this as a 85/15 PG/VG ratio, but vapor production wise it resembles a 65/35 mix. In other words, it produces a lot of vapor. Just can’t really tell what the composition is, certain flavors can thin out a juice which could be the case. Throat hit on Smilin Tobacco is very high, the 3.6% (36mg) hits much more like a 4.8-5.2% juice. For throat hit junkies this will be a plus.
As for flavor (and keep in mind as always taste is subjective) this one is a near to an analog as any juice I’ve tried. Has a very rich tobacco taste, along with an ashy burning taste that you would find in an actual cigarette. This taste does linger a bit in the mouth like a real cigarette as well. Wattage limits in a single vertical set up was 12.2w, in a dual 17.3w, and in a horizontal coil 10w (which is tremendously high for any juice).
The juice does have a slight after smell, but didn’t receive any complaints on it (unlike a certain previous flavor V4L released that closely mimicked an analog), and doesn’t hang around for long. The bottom line on this juice – for those looking as close to an analog experience (which most new vapers are) WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco provides it.
WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco Menthol
This is also the same flavor you’ll find in the menthol disposables. The flow rate and viscosity would put this as a 85/15 PG/VG ratio. Vapor production though makes me second guess this, as it makes plumes of vapor much more like a 65/35 or 70/30 mix. It’s medium to high vapor production potential. Throat hit on this menthol juice is very strong as well, but not as high as expected compared to the non-menthol version. The 3.6% (36mg) hit much more like a 4.2-4.5% juice. Still a good choice for those who put more emphasis on TH.
As far as flavors go, the tobacco aspect is perfect. Same rich tobacco taste, along with that ashy burning sensation you would find in an actual cigarette. The menthol was a bit more on the minty side though to me. Taste does linger a bit in the mouth like a real cigarette too. Wattage limits in a single vertical set up was 12.4w, in a dual 17.7w, and in a horizontal coil 10.2w (which again is tremendously high for any juice).
Like the tobacco, this one too has a slight after smell but heard no complaints. It’s not a flavor that will permeate a room long either. The bottom line on this juice is if you prefer a slightly sweeter or mintier menthol along with the real analog type taste you can’t go wrong with WOW Vapor Smilin Tobacco Menthol.
