CBD Tinctures
Cannabidiol (CBD) Tinctures are an easy way to use CBD that does not require any vaping or additional time spent applying a balm or lotion to your skin. Instead, you just drop the CBD under your tongue. Tinctures generally come in a bottle with a dropper and some formulas also can be mixed with foods and beverages. In herbal medicine, a tincture traditionally refers to a suspension made with alcohol. But in the world of CBD, the term tincture is generally applied to any CBD formula which comes with a dropper and can be applied under the tongue. Most tinctures are mixed with a carrier oil. Some of the most common carrier oils are sunflower oil, hemp seed oil, extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), emu oil, Arnica, jojoba oil and MCT oil. MCT is an acronym for medium chain triglycerides, which are generally made from coconuts or palm kernel. CBD tinctures should never be vaped and contain no THC.
